  I've had a good experience with Furman. Julie the agent we've been working with is very responsive and professional. When we've needed maintenance they are quick to respond. Prices are good and the location of their properties are also good. I feel their Stange apartments could use some upgrade for the windows, but that is my only real complaint since living here.

  I would highly suggest looking elsewhere to rent! If you do decide to take the plunge for here be prepared for them to find anyway to take extra money, no leniency, lies to get you into a place, and do not under any circumstances work with Michelle!!!! She was the leasing agent for me and multiple times explained the benefits of the place and turns out she was lying and of course I’d already signed the lease so we were just screwed. They may work as a last resort but with all the new housing going up in Ames, it’s so not worth it!
